What is Eczema?
Eczema is an inflammatory skin condition that involves an itchy rash, redness and flaking at the surface. Inflammatory diseases happen when damaged cells release histamine and bradykinin into surrounding fluids, causing capillary pores to dilate.

Once this dilation occurs, fluid and protein enter the tissue spaces leading to redness, itching and inflammation. This cycle repeats causing the epidermis to thicken as cells multiply rapidly, creating a scaly effect on the surface of the skin.

What are the causes of Eczema?
Eczema is caused by hypersensitivity to certain irritants and is therefore closely related to allergic asthma, hayfever and food allergies.

The presence of these irritants overburden the immune system with toxins – meaning the body is dealing with more irritants than it can effectively handle.

The skin is an elimination organ, and the body tries to eliminate the toxins through this channel. From a natural perspective, the body is experiencing and ailment in the small & large intestine with foods potentially leaking out of the gut.

When foods leak out of the gut they create toxic and inflammatory lymph which is then excreted through the skin.

Children and babies are especially prone to eczema because their immune systems are still developing. About 30% of newborn babies may develop this condition and 1/8 children.

How are the toxins coming into the newborns? Through the mother’s umbilical tube during pregnancy and then through the breast milk during feeding.

Whatever the mother drinks and eats – so does the child – and our food and water supply are riddled with toxins, hormones, antibiotics, glyphosate, heavy metals, pesticides and HUNDREDS of toxic contaminants. Umbilical cord blood that is currently being measured averages 300+ toxins.

Adults of course also suffer from this condition and are in fact more likely to struggle with eczema as an adult if they had it as a child.

Why Holistic / Natural?
When you work naturally with the body, you are locating the cause and dealing directly with the issue – therefore eliminating the symptom without the use of prescription drugs or creams. This is a longer process that takes time and patience.

The use of Skin Naturopathics herbal regimen may reduce the symptoms of this skin disorder over time. This is NOT a medical claim.

The following protocol is recommended:

First Month: Step One Cleanse Kit + Digestive Kit + XMA Kit

2nd Month: Digestive Kit + XMA Kit and try adding the Step Two Balance Kit if you are not getting the results you want. You can also try increasing the dosage of the XMA kit formulas 1 & 2.

3rd Month: Digestive Kit + XMA Kit and continue the Step Two Balance Kit if you found it beneficial.

Topical suggestions:

  • It is important not to put any toxic chemicals or steroids on eczema.
  • Read the ingredients of whatever you’re using and if they are long chain words of things you do not understand, then it is not good to use this on eczema.
  • Think about the body already trying to push out un-natural substances, so don’t burden your skin with more even if it is marked “recommended”, “hypoallergenic” or “free and clear”.
  • You want to only use ORGANIC things on this condition such as a salve that has essential oils, natural butters, waxes and herbs.
  • Remember even if something is marked “organic” you still have to read the ingredients!
  • Only put things on eczema that you recognize as truly natural as in from nature as-is.
  • There shouldn’t be any additives, preservatives or anything synthetic whatsoever.
